It was an unusual occurrence that led Kenneth to Chinese metaphysics and it still strikes people as to how it happened. Kenneth took up a Chinese tutoring assignment in mid-2004 during the vacation and he went to a Chinese bookstore in Bras Brasah to look for materials. In the bookstore, two books, one on Eight Characters and the other on Emperor Astrology , caught his eye and he decided that he should put himself to the challenge to understand them. Thus, he bought the books and went back happily to digest them. In the beginning, it was tough as he was brought up in an English-speaking family and the concepts were all in ancient Chinese literary forms. Strangely, he managed to understand the concepts after a few weeks and began to test out the methods as stated in the books. After many trail-and-errors and testing the methods on friends and family, he realized that he had a gift in Chinese metaphysics.
In order to quench his thirst for learning, he went back to the bookstore and purchase even more books on Eight Characters and Emperor Astrology. After a while, the information in the books were not sufficient to answer the doubts that rang in his head, and he embarked on a journey to find masters that could teach him about what he yearned to find out. His first master was Master Sanna, whom taught Kenneth the Thai Astrology method and guided him with his metaphysical studies, especially in the study of San Yuan Xuan Kong Feng Shui. Kenneth then approached Master Tony to learn about Zhong Zhou Sect Emperor Astrology. Not long after, through a friend's recommendation, Kenneth managed to learn under Cai Joo (No website, please contact Kenneth for more details) on the subjects of Mian Xiang as well as Yi Jing Numerology. Recently in 2007, Kenneth further deepened his studies in San Yuan Xuan Kong Feng Shui under the tutelage of Master Sanna and Master Francis.
After learning these metaphysical tools, Kenneth realized that he could actually align Emperor Astrology with San Yuan Xuan Kong Feng Shui to aid individuals in their life development. Kenneth then made an important decision to focus on his passion of helping people realizing their fullest potential. He joined the social service industry and enrolled in a distance learning program to read a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Psychology and attended courses in SIM relating to Extended DISC profiling and executive coaching. Thus, his journey into professional metaphysical practice and research began.
Kenneth's immediate goal is to utilize his knowledge in the astrological calculation methods and combine it with Feng Shui to help his clients in achieving their maximum potential in life. He is also researching on Emperor Astrology and using it to collect data in a bid to make it a full-fledge science recognized in the field of applied psychology.
